ABOUT US

TC Train Me is a group of computer and training experts that offer hands-on, instructor led, computer training. We offer beginner, basic and advanced level computer classes in almost every software product on the market today! Our instructors have years of experience in the computer industry and using the software, so they know how to show you, explain the logic and give you real world examples of using the programs for work, home or play!

In addition to offering standard classes, the TC Training Center will also build custom classes to meet your needs.  A trainer/consultant will work with you to mix and match subjects to make the perfect education fit for you or your organization.

All of our trainers have been working or training in the computer industry for over 15 years.  In addition to training many individuals, our trainers have conducted computer training classes for companies including Compaq Computers, AOL, Microsoft, Best Data, LinkSys, Travelocity and Federal Government Agencies including the General Services Administration, U.S.G.S. and the Veterans Administration. 

INSTRUCTOR BIOS:

All of our trainers have been working or training in the computer industry for over 15 years. In addtion to training over 5,000 individuals in the Traverse City area, they have conducted training for companies including Compaq Computers, AOL, Microsoft, and several fortune 500 companies across the United States.

 

We are proud that our trainers work and own businesses that focus on the programs that they teach. They have a true understanding of the programs, because they use them daily for their own lives & businesses. They understand not only how the programs work, but how to make them work for you. Our trainers have earned certifications in their core products including Microsoft, QuickBooks, Apple and more!

Instructor: CAROL BROWN
Specialty: Intro, Basics and Microsoft Classes

Carol S. Brown has worked and trained in the computer industry for over 16 years.  She teaches beginner through advanced level classes in Windows, Microsoft Office, Internet and Accounting for the TC Training Center.  She is a recognized expert in computer software and is a speaker for many organizations and businesses.

Brown has conducted computer classes for companies including Compaq Computers, AOL, Best Data, Linksys and Federal Government Agencies including the General Services Administration, U.S.G.S. and the Veterans Administration.    She has also earned her Microsoft Certified Trainer and Apple Networking certifications

Carol and Geoffrey Brown are the owners of the TC Training Center.  They are the owners of several successful Internet and computer based businesses.  Their combined computer experience spans over 30 years.

 

Instructor: CARRIE DUNHAM
Specialty: QuickBooks


Carrie Dunham has over 20 years experience tax preparation and bookkeeping.  She was the first Advanced Certified Pro Advisor for QuickBooks in Northern Michigan.  Carrie has been certified and training QuickBooks classes since 1999.  She is currently working on certification in QuickBooks Point of Sale and Enterprise Solutions.

Carrie has owned several small businesses and is currently the co-owner of Crystal Clear Software Solutions LLC, a software programming and training company.  She specializes in accounting and QuickBooks consulting.  Carrie is also a member of the American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers.

Instructor: RANDY GAY

Specialty: Digital Photography, Photoshop & Wed Design


Randy Gay has been a photographer for over 30 years.  His pictures have been published in numerous magazines including Michigan Blue, Nature Photographer and Seattle Magazine.  He is currently the owner of Cherry Creek Studios.

Randy has extensive experience working in the computer industry.  For over 20 years he worked as a programmer and project manager for companies including Microsoft and M&M Mars.  He retired in 2003 to become a professional photographer and studio owner.

Instructor: CHAD HALL (iCHAD)
Specialty: iPhone, iTunes, iPod & Apple/Mac

Chad Hall has been a motivator, public speaker and trainer for over 15 years.  He has focused on Macintosh programs and devices for the past several years.  He began training iPhone, iTunes & Mac at the TC Training center in 2009. 

Chad has been an administrator and organizer in non-profit organizations and service industries for over 10 years.  He works primarily with the Cherry Capital Chorus and his Barbershop group Quid Pro Quo.
