This class is designed for people looking to get online, beginners or novice users who want to learn about the Internet. It is a hands-on class that takes you through the basic skills needed to effectively get online, use email & search the World Wide Web. We begin with a basic understanding of how the Internet works, cover all of the terminology, have a review of some of the popular sites (including Facebook and Ebay) and finish with practice in the use of some of the basics including email & browsers. If you, or someone you know, wants to use the Internet for the first time, or just to get better at what they are already doing, this is the class for you!
