MySpace, Facebook, You Tube, Blogs, Blackberry, Texting, WHAT?? Do you ever feel like your kids are running circles around you when it comes to the Internet? Do you feel like the “old” one of the group when talking about technology? YOU can be as computer savvy as the rest of them! These are just a few of the latest Internet Fads! In this POWER class we cover all the basics of the newest Internet technology. Learn what the terms mean, how to find them online, and get started using them in class!

This class is a Power class, meaning the material will be covered in 3 hours! It is a hand-on class, instructor led class. Bring your questions! A working knowledge of the Internet or our Intro to the Internet class will be helpful.

• How to setup an account and profile on MySpace
• Other networking sites, including Facebook and LinkedIn
• How to find friends (or your children) on Networking Sites; including MySpace
• How to view and download videos from You Tube
• How to use a Blog and setup your own (Word Press)
• How to setup your own website on ImpactFolios
• Webmail - Gmail and the Google Calendar (check it out or sign up for your own account)
• How to sync with your Blackberry (if you have a Blackberry bring it to class!)
